Wasil is Co-Founder & AI Lead of TwinStack Studio — one team for the web, mobile and AI side of a product. The studio builds websites, full-stack web applications, mobile apps in Flutter, React Native and Kotlin, dashboards and e-commerce, plus computer vision, AI automation, chatbots and machine learning, all in-house. Clients talk to whoever is writing the code, from the first call through to launch.

01Computer vision & AI · 2026

TwinStack ANPR

Automatic number plate recognition for Pakistani vehicles. Upload a CCTV clip or a photo and every vehicle is detected and tracked while a plate detector and an OCR model we trained ourselves read its number plate. Readings feed a live dashboard with a searchable vehicle log, entry/exit parking sessions with fees and watchlist alerts.

  • Vehicle detection and tracking with YOLO11 and ByteTrack: cars, bikes, buses and trucks keep one ID through the clip
  • Plate detector trained on 1,578 photos of Pakistani plates (Punjab, Sindh, Islamabad, KP): precision 1.00, recall 0.97 on held-out photos
  • OCR model fine-tuned on 1,471 hand-checked plate crops: on vehicles it never saw in training it reads 88% of plates fully correct, up from 79%

PSX Alpha

An AI-driven stock research engine for the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It scores and ranks every KSE-100 company from its published accounts, explains each pick in plain language, and tests the ranking against the index with a walk-forward backtest.

  • Five scoring pillars — quality, value, safety, growth and momentum — each measured against sector peers
  • Piotroski F-Score and Altman Z-Score, with separate rules for banks and insurers
  • XGBoost ranker retrained every quarter on only the data available at the time, blended with the rule-based score

Sketchify

An AI image-processing app that turns photos into drawings. A computer-vision pipeline — edge detection, Gaussian and difference-of-Gaussians filtering, tone mapping — runs as GPU shaders on the phone, so thirteen sketch styles update live while the sliders move and no photo is ever uploaded. Built with React Native and Expo.

  • Computer-vision pipeline on the GPU: Sobel edge detection, Gaussian and difference-of-Gaussians filters, colour-dodge tone mapping and halftone screening, written as SkSL shaders
  • Real-time image processing: a full-resolution preview redraws as the sliders move, and exports go up to 4096 px
  • Thirteen styles, from graphite, pencil and ink to cross-hatch, comic, watercolour and neon

A zakat and donation portal for Pakistan. It helps people work out the zakat they owe, learn the rulings behind it, and find a trusted charity to give to — with sign-in, a donation history and an admin dashboard.

A bilingual website and online ordering system for a Shinwari restaurant on the GT Road at Margalla. Guests browse the menu in English or Urdu and order for delivery or pickup; staff run orders, sold-out items, reviews and messages from their own dashboard.

  • Full menu in English and Urdu, with a right-to-left layout for Urdu
  • Cart and checkout for delivery or pickup, with the tax for the chosen payment method shown before ordering
